FAQ
How do I request a quote?
Use contact form with your project details—include dimensions, photos of the space, and any deadlines. We’ll reply with next steps and an estimated timeline.
What info do you need for an estimate?
Rough dimensions, a couple photos, inspiration links, preferred wood/finish (if known), install address, and your ideal budget range.
How are projects priced?
Pricing reflects materials, size/complexity, finish, and any installation. You’ll receive a clear written quote; revisions are priced via simple change orders.
Do you require a deposit?
Yes—an initial deposit is required to reserve your spot and order materials, with the balance due at delivery/installation. (Adjust % to your policy.)
What’s the typical lead time?
Small builds: ~3–5 business days. Common pieces: ~1–2 weeks. Custom/built-ins: ~2–4+ weeks. Rush options may be available depending on the schedule and materials.
Do you deliver and install?
Yes. Installation includes measuring, stud-finding/anchoring, clean edges/leveling, and site clean-up. Haul-away of old items is available upon request.
What areas do you serve?
Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, and Queen Creek. Outside the East Valley may be possible with a small travel fee.
What woods do you work with?
Cedar, pine, oak, and maple are most common; other species available by request. We’ll help you choose based on use, budget, and finish.
What finishes do you use (indoor vs. outdoor)?
Indoors: low-VOC water-based polyurethane or hard-wax oil. Outdoors: UV-resistant penetrating oils or exterior urethane. Food-contact surfaces can use food-safe oil/wax.
Can you match an existing stain/paint or sheen?
Usually yes. We’ll create a small test sample for approval; natural wood varies slightly, so minor tone differences are normal.
Can you build from a photo or sketch?
Yes—we can adapt a style to your dimensions and space. Simple shop drawings are included; detailed drawings for complex built-ins available upon request.
How much weight can floating shelves hold?
With stud anchoring or hidden brackets, typical safe capacity is ~30–50 lb per stud span, depending on shelf size and wall construction. We’ll specify limits for your install.
How should I prep the space for installation?
Clear the area and a path to it, mark any preferred heights/center lines, and keep pets/kids away from the work zone. We bring drop cloths and a vac.
Can you remove old shelves/fixtures and haul them away?
Yes—removal and minor wall patching can be included. Haul-away is available for a small fee.
Do you offer repairs or refinishing?
Yes. We tighten joinery, reglue, sand and re-coat finishes, and replace hardware. Send photos and we’ll assess the best fix.
How do I care for my piece?
Wipe with a soft damp cloth; avoid harsh cleaners and standing water. Use coasters/pads. Re-oil outdoor pieces annually (or as needed) for best protection.
Do you offer a warranty?
We guarantee workmanship and fit for 14 days; we’ll correct issues due to materials or craftsmanship. Normal wear, water damage, and weathering are excluded.
What’s your cancellation/reschedule policy?
What’s your cancellation/reschedule policy?
Please provide 48 hr notice. Deposits cover custom materials already purchased; rescheduling is usually no charge with adequate notice.
What payment methods do you accept?
Credit/debit, ACH, cash, or check. You’ll receive a digital invoice; sales tax applies where required.
Do you work with HOAs and property managers?
Yes—we coordinate access, provide before/after photos, and can invoice per unit or monthly.
